Opportunity: A blind request for proposal was issued in July 06’ for a brick faced 48,000 square foot two-story office building. Little time was given for the reply to the RFP and the parameters of its future use and many specifications were not specifically clear at the time.
Application: After Structures was awarded the project the building of the Atlantic Mutual Office Building began in August of 06’. The project was finished utilizing Structures’ fast track design/build process. The gross result is that the project was completed 60 days ahead of schedule and $50,000 under budget.
