Community School
Client: The Community School Location: Roanoke, VA Square footage: Construction style:
Opportunity: Within a very restrictive budget and in keeping with the organizations philosophy build ten new and much needed classrooms for the Community School. The overall design and plan must take into account future phases of the building project.
Application: Budgets for nonprofits are always challenging. Structures Design/Build went to great lengths to work with the Community School to make this project happen. This particular project only had sufficient funding to accomplish the first phase of a three-phase master plan. The classrooms were built with sensitivity to the Community’s School’s philosophical approach to education. Physical infrastructure was put in place to accommodate for future growth and expansion.
