Location: Roanoke, VA
Square footage: 6200 square feet
Construction style: Wood framed and laminate beam structure.
Opportunity: On this project Structures and the client came up with the plan to demolish an existing triplex built on the property in the 50s, utilizing the existing foundation. Build a highly custom Tuscan influenced residence. The owners wanted to let the outside in on every level of the home so to take advantage of natural surroundings and hillside views.
Application: This extraordinary hillside residence speaks for itself. Every inch of the residence is truly custom according to the wishes of the client. The rooflines and arches strongly are influenced by Tuscan architecture while the entire rear of the home is flanked by glass and seamlessly melds into its natural surroundings.
